PRODIGY-MAN, THE MOVIE ABOUT SUPERHEROES AND ALZHEIMER, EXCLUSIVA SCREENING OF 20 MINUTES IN THE BARCELONA COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL

The premiere of the movie 'Prodigy-man' is imminent but the movie's team is going to project twenty minutes, esclusively, in the Barcelona Comic-Con International. The screening will take place on Sunday 14 April at 13.30 hours in the conference room of the Barcelona Comic-Con International. The twenty minutes include some scenes related to Alzheimer's, a battle between Prodigy-man and Anita Apocalyptic,  a scene with cameos and also you can hear the official song of this superhero. Prodigy-man is a superhero who fights against problems like ours and supervillains like Mr. Survivor, Doctor Abyss and Anita Apocaliptic. He has a mother with Alzheimer's. Xavier Cristobal, the director of the film, also has her mother with Alzheimer's. The aim of Cristobal is that "the public have a good time and take a few seconds to think of Alzheimer's disease". 'Prodigy-man' is a production "mileurista" on the free time of the different team members. In the film there are two moments where you can see cameos from various celebrities from film, television, newspapers and comics. 'Prodigy-man', the new superhero film in Spanish cinema, has become a multimedia adventure that is developed in parallel with the film production. Xavier Cristobal is writer, director and producer of 'Prodigy-man'. ARRUGAS WILL BE REALEASED IN JUNE IN JAPAN AND DISTRIBUTED BY STUDIO BHIBLI
'Arrugas' will be released in June in Japan and distributed by the legendary Studio Ghibli Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. 'Arrugas' by Ignacio Ferreras and based on the comic by Paco Roca jumps to Japan. 'Arrugas' will debut there in June and will be distributed by the legendary Studio Ghibli, the major producer of animation created by Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. So, 'Arrugas', the animated film centered Alzheimer be screened in Japan from the makers of great films like Ponyo, Porco Rosso or Totoro.

AT 'CLOUD ATLAS' THERE IS A LITTLE REFERENCE TO ALZHEIMER
Cloud Atlas is a 2012 German drama and science fiction film written, produced and directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski and Tom Tykwer. Adapted from the 2004 novel by David Mitchell, the film features multiple plotlines set across six different eras. The official synopsis for Cloud Atlas describes the film as: "An exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution."

LA VACUNA ESPAÑOLA CONTRA EL ALZHIEMER PODRIA PROBARSE EN HUMANOS ESTA PRIMAVERA
La vacuna española contra el Alzheimer podría probarse en humanos esta primavera. La vacuna ya ha demostrado su eficacia y seguridad en ratones transgénicos y ahora el siguiente paso es probarla en humanos.  La EB-101 ha sido desarrollada por un equipo de científicos españoles y ya ha sido patentada en Estados Unidos. Hoy hay en el mundo 36 millones de personas con Alzheimer y las previsiones es que en 20 años serán más de 70 millones de personas. La vacuna diseñada por el equipo de doctor Cacabelos podría duplicar la esperanza de vida de los pacientes y reducir un 30 por ciento el extraordinario gasto sanitario que supone esta dolencia degenerativa. La vacuna EB-101 previene el Alzheimer antes de que aparezca en personas con antecedentes familiares y también reduce sus graves síntomas cuando el Alzheimer ya se ha desarrollado. Si los ensayos clínicos confirman su eficacia, esta vacuna podría estar disponible en las farmacias en un plazo de seis a ocho años. Sin embargo, esta vacuna sólo podría aplicarse en la mitad de los casos de Alzheimer. Afortunadamente, además de esta vacuna española hay otros  investigadores de Estados Unidos, Japón, China e Israel que están desarrollando sus propios proyectos. To be continued.

XAVIER CRISTOBAL BE INTERVIEWED ON SATURDAY 22 SEPTEMBER IN PROGRAM ESRADIO 'BIG WORDS', WICH WILL BE DEVOTED TO ALZHEIMER'S 
Xavier Cristobal will be interviewed on Saturday 22 September in the program esRadio 'big words', which will be devoted to Alzheimer's. The program is live from 7.00 to 8.00 in the morning and the interview will focus on explaining how living with a person with Alzheimer's and children's stories Prodigy-man superhero, which are related to disease. 'ARRUGAS', HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR BEST ANIMATED FILM OF THE EUROPEAN fILM AWADS
'Arrugas' has been nominated for the best animated film of the European Film Awards. The film director Ignacio Ferreras compete for the award for best animated film of the European Film Awards. This nomination was announced yesterday by the European Film Academy (EFA), based in Berlin. The Perro Verde Films production continues its successful career after winning last February the Goya for best animated film and best adapted screenplay. 'Arrugas' is the film adaptation of Paco Roca's comic that explains the experiences of a man who developed Alzheimer's disease and was admitted to a nursing home. 'Arrigas' compete with movies 'Pirates!' and 'Alois Nebel'. The ceremony for the awards will take place on December 1 and will be in Malta. 2,700 EFA members who will vote the production will win the award for best animated film. From here luck to 'Arrugas'.

'ARRUGAS 'ANIMATED FILM ON ALZHEIMER, TRIUMPHS IN THE FESTIVAL Annecy
'Arrugas', the animated film about Alzheimer's triumphs at the Annecy Festival. 'Arrugas' has become the first Spanish film to win an award at Anney, the largest animation festival in Europe. Ignacio Ferreras film based on a comic by Paco Roca -who has made an artistic collaboration in the film 'Prodigy-man'- has won the Special Jury Prize at Annecy. Addition has also won the award for best feature film at the recent Stuttgart Animation Festival. Going back to Annecy, 'The Adventures of Tadeo Jones' other film-selected Spanish-could not get any prizes.
 ORIOL IVERN, FOUNDER OF CROMOSOMA AND PRODUCER OF THE HIT SERIES 'THE TRIPLETS', ' DOCUMENTARY FILM 'BICYCLE, SPOON, APPLE' AND ANIMATION MOVIE  'ARRUGAS' DIED LAST WEDNESDAY
Oriol Ivern Oriol died last Wdnesday. He was Cromosoma founder and producer of the hit series' The Triplets', the documentary film "Bicycle, Spoon apple' and co-producer of the animated film about Alzheimer ' Arrugas ' . Oriol Ivern died at age 65 and he was producer of the hit animated series 'The Triplets' and its spin-offs, and other animated series: Tom, Juanito Jones and Miniman. It was also the producer of the documentary film "Bicycle, spoon, apple' by Carles Bosch, based on the figure of Pasqual Maragall and his fight against Alzheimer's. Ivern was also co-produced the animated film about Alzheimer 'Arrugas' by Ignacio Ferreras, based on a comic-book by Paco Roca. Currently, Oriol Oivern was working in the film adaptation of the adventures of  The Triplets. Rest in peace.
IN CHAPTER 12 OF THE SECOND SEASON SERIES 'TORCHWOOD'-A SPIN-OFF OF 'DOCTOR WHO'-OWEN HAS A GIRLFRIEND WITH ALZHEIMER'S
Torchwood is a spin off of Doctor Who, emerged from the enthusiasm aroused by the character of Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman). Torchwood is regarded as the adult version of the universe created in 'Doctor Who'. Thus, in Chapter 12 of the second season we have the origins of three of the main characters. One is Owen, the medical group, which is about to marry the younger woman in the world that has developed Alzheimer's disease. 'Torchwood' has a third season, 'Children of Earth' and fourth 'Miracle Day', in co-production with the United States.

Today I want to recommend the viewing of Chapter 10 of Season 2 of 'Torchwood'. In this chapter a time traveler visits her son with Alzheimer. This chapter begins with Torchwood components waiting at an air base in 2003. There came a plane with three people in 1953. According to the history books, that plane disappeared and never returned. Torchwood agents help the three crew to learn to live in today's world. One of the crew come to visit his son, who is in a nursing home and has Alzheimer's. Another member of Torchwood will live a passionate love affair with a time traveler.

CARMEN SEVILLA MAY HAVE ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE
Carmen Sevilla could have Alzheimer's disease. The actress Carmen Sevilla retired in 2010 the program 'Cine de Barrio'. Even then suspected something was happening. Now, some close friends of Seville Carmen says she is losing memory "little by little." 'Arrugas', an animated film about Alzheimer's, presented Monday at the San Sebastian festival. 'Arrugas' is a 2D animation film for adult audiences based on the acclaimed comic book of the same name by Paco Roca (National Comic Award 2008). It narrates the friendship between Emilio and Miguel, two elderly confined in a nursing home. Emilio, who has just arrived at the residence at an early stage of Alzheimer's, will be assisted by Miguel and other colleagues for not finishing in the top floor of the residence. The film is directed by Ignacio Ferreras.

'NADER AND SIMIN. a SEPARATION' BY ASGHAR FARHADI WINS THE GOLDEN BEAR OF 61 EDITION OF THE 2011 BERLINALE
Iranian film 'Nader and Simin. A Separation' by Asghar Farhadi won the Golden Bear at the 61 edition of the Berlinale 2011. Moreover, the film won the Silver Bear for all its interpreters. In the jury was the Italian director and actress Isabella Rossellini. Movie shows Iranian characters face different problems and dilemmas, including how to care for a parent with Alzheimer's.

JORDI SOLÉ TURA IS DEAD. REST IN PEACE
On December 4 died at 79 years old Jordi Solé Tura, considered one of the fathers of the Spanish Constitution of 1978. He was Minister of Culture during the terms of Felipe González. For many years political life alternated with the teacher. In 2004 he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease was published in December 2007. On this date their son Albert Solé Tura announced the production of a documentary entitled 'Bucharest. La memoria perdida ', which won a Goya. Rest in peace.

"PANDORA'S BOX" WINS IN THE FESTIVAL OF SAN SEBASTIAN
The Turkish movie Pandora's Box of the director Yesim Ustaoglu has been the winner of the Golden shell of the Festival of San Sebastian. The movie in addition the Concha of Silver has won the Best Actress: To the nonagenarian actress Tsilla Chelton for ' Pandora's Box ', prize shared with Melissa Leo by 'Frozen River' (USA). The movie narrates an emotive history of a peasant with Alzheimer of which her daughters have to take charge.
